Vivo has expanded its Y-series smartphone lineup with the launch of the new Vivo Y60. The latest budget 5G smartphone focuses on delivering long-lasting battery life, smooth everyday performance, and modern features at an affordable price point. Equipped with a powerful 6500mAh battery, Snapdragon processor, and high refresh rate display, the Vivo Y60 is aimed at users who want reliable performance without spending too much.

The Vivo Y60 comes with a large 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display that offers a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. The smartphone supports a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother animations, better scrolling experience, and improved gaming responsiveness. Whether users are browsing social media, streaming videos, or playing casual games, the higher refresh rate helps create a more fluid viewing experience.

Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which is built using an efficient 4nm manufacturing process. This processor is designed to deliver balanced performance while maintaining excellent power efficiency. Vivo has paired the chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, allowing users to multitask easily and store plenty of apps, photos, and videos without worrying about space.

One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo Y60 is its massive 6500mAh battery. The large battery capacity is ideal for users who spend long hours watching content, gaming, or using social media throughout the day. Thanks to the power-efficient hardware, the smartphone can easily deliver extended battery backup on a single charge. Vivo has also included 15W fast charging support through a USB Type-C port.

In the camera department, the Vivo Y60 features a 13-megapixel rear camera setup capable of capturing decent photos in daylight conditions. The camera system includes autofocus and LED flash support for improved photography. On the front, the smartphone carries a 5-megapixel selfie camera designed for selfies and video calling needs. While the cameras are not flagship-level, they are suitable for regular everyday photography.

The device also carries an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, adding extra durability for daily usage.

On the software side, the Vivo Y60 runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, offering a modern and user-friendly interface with multiple customization features. Vivo has introduced the smartphone in stylish color options including Lucky Purple, Obsidian Black, and Shanhaiqing.
